This Tv cabinet is made from Tasmanian oak. Dimensions 2300l x 600h x 600d. It was to a customers specifications and dimensions. To make this piece standout from the rest of the Tassie Oak cabinets on the market i tried hard to get timber with some life and character about it for use on the front and side panels. i made my own stain which was a really mild choc brown wash to darken the timber just a little bit to match the clients existing furniture.

Custom made sideboard 900h x 1300w x 350d.
This was made to a customers specifications the only addition i made was to add the subtle pale strip in the front draw panels to break up the solid red of the jarah. The unit is made from 100% recyced Jarah, while selecting the pieces i did my best to choose really unique pieces as jarah can get a little overwhelming and boring sometimes. The top is made from 40mm recycled beams from an old wharehouse in WA. The unit looks solid and weigh about as much as it looks, to me weight equals quality of timber and workmanship.

Side board with recycled front
Side Board constructed out of 35mm thick tassie oak. The draw front is a heavily weathered piece of australian hardwood that by the looks of it has seen alot of sun and rain. The top 3mm was taken off the piece revealing a really beautiful weathered piece of timber to really make this piece stand out. The finish was done with just a simple wax coat to bring out a beautiful texture and colour in the grain.
